We turn images and data into searchable tools, creative applications, and public experiences, with every result connected to its source.

Start with a sample of the material and one application worth exploring.

01/Reference project

One collection.Several ways to bring it to life.

MTL Archives brings one photographic dataset into search, visual exploration, a daily location game, print ordering, and editorial stories. It is one expression of the approach: different ways to discover and return to the material, with source records kept accessible.

02/How we handle collections

From source material to new experiences.

We connect and enrich your material, then build an application around its intended use. These illustrations show possible outcomes, with review and source references built into the workflow.

01Your collection

Images arrive alongside existing catalogue records and source identifiers.

02Organize & connect

Matching records connect while both original source references are retained.

03Enrich & review

A person reviews and approves a generated description and labels. Original metadata remains unchanged.

04Build & experience

One source photograph becomes material for a search tool, a composed artwork, and an interactive display. These are illustrative applications, not completed projects.

03/Start small
